Capacity Building of Iraq Provincial Investment Commissions
Engaged by the US State Department and in cooperation with Center for International Private Enterprises (CIPE), ICA delivered a full scale FDI capacity building project in Iraq. This nine-month project consisted of three on-site training support missions, during which 150 Provincial Investment commissioners (PICs) were trained in all aspects of FDI and investment promotion. The trainings covered the full spectrum and cycle of Investment Promotion. ICA also delivered handbooks, manuals and website templates as well as a tailored version of LocationSelector to benchmark various Iraqi provinces.
