Steef - as a transfer pricing partner working for 2 of the big four audit firms - spent an increasing amount of his time in resolving transfer pricing issues, involving multinationals in the following industries: fast moving consumer goods, apparel, financial services, computer and software industry, pharmaceutical industry etc. The 500 global and European transfer pricing projects Steef has been involved in over the last 10 years cover areas like APAs, cost contribution arrangements, cost allocation systems and arbitration procedures. Steef is specialized in transfer pricing and intangibles and is lecturing on a frequent basis on the various topics of transfer pricing. He has been advising the Dutch Ministry of Finance and the transfer pricing knowledge group of the tax authorities in recent years.
Steef has more than 16 years of experience in the area of international tax consulting, focusing in particular on multinationals headquartered in Europe. From the beginning of the 1990’s he developed a focus on transfer pricing – through transfer pricing secondments in Frankfurt, London and Washington DC - which led to the creation of the largest dedicated transfer pricing practice on the continent of Europe in 2001 and 2002. Steef graduated in fiscal economics at the University of Rotterdam in 1987. Steef also frequently lectures and publishes articles on transfer pricing issues. |
